We run two hour photography sessions based on a photography theme/technique/style and they take place in various locations in Vancouver.

  • New to photography? We also run a popular 3 hour Beginners Guide to Photography Class once a month. And once in a while we will run special niche 3 hour classes, for example, Astrophotography - so do subscribe to our newsletter to know when the next on is!

  • Who can attend? Open to all skill levels, from beginners to keen amateurs. The photography instructor is there to help you with camera settings and provide any advice you need.

Great lesson with Emanuel! He gave us effective, meaningful instruction with plenty of opportunity to practice along the way. He was also extremely kind, not only to us, but to everyone we crossed paths with while taking pictures in the park. Great way to spend an afternoon!

I am a beginner and Emmanuel helped me understand the relationship between shutter speed, aperature and ISO. We practiced taking photos and adjusting settings manually. Emmanuel is very knowledgeable and teaches concepts so they are easy to understand.

In the city noted for its beautiful 19th century Haussman architecture styling, Paris? Fondation Louis Vuitton stands out for its modern, imaginative design. American architect, Frank Gehry created this architectural gem, which resembles a giant glass ark, ready to sail off into another world filled with light. Inside, it houses permanent, and temporary exhibits of contemporary art. Definitely worth a visit when you?re in Paris.iPhone 11 Pro Max April, 2024

A beautiful rainbow just on sunrise at Watonga Rocks, at Lighthouse Beach in Port Macquarie, Australia. The rainbow persisted for over an hour, allowing time to wade out into the surf to get the rainbow positioned just right for a photograph. I had to watch for breaking waves behind me while taking photographs to avoid bring dunked and I had to tun for it several times. Happily it all worked out and I captured a great images.

The photo was taken at Emsworth, a very picturesque harbour on the south coast of England. The sea was incredibly calm making it like a mirror, and the morning light was soft and warm in colour. I was stood on the harbour wall and framed the shot to include the sunken boat to give it scale and perspective.
